Selling to the World: Growing a Vibrant, Inclusive and Connected Economy for Greater Philadelphia is the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia’s (WTCGP) exciting new program to restore and expand the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), both established exporters and new-to-exporting companies. 

This program is also designed to increase global access and opportunities for minority and women-owned businesses (MWBEs) that includes global supplier diversity training to enable these companies to export into the global supply chains of multinational corporations abroad.

Who Should Apply?

​Ideal applicant profile:*
  • Minimum 3 years in business
  • Strong financials
  • $5+ million in total sales
  • Exportable product (ideally a tangible product, manufactured in the U.S.)
  • Exportable services considered - architectural, engineering, environmental consulting, etc.
  • Employee dedicated for international and senior management support
  • SMES in Southeastern PA, Southern NJ, and DE.

Program DetailS


Three, one-day training sessions:
  • April 6, May 4, and June 1 (8:30am – 4:30pm)
  • Philadelphia Center City location
  • $500 inclusive fee for all 3 training sessions
  • Topics include:  Developing an Export Strategy, Finding Qualified Buyers, Logistics and Shipping, Export Finance, International Business Culture and Etiquette, and more…
  • Special training in global supplier diversity for MWBEs

Upon completion of the training, companies will receive:​
  • One-year complimentary membership to WTCGP for new member companies
  • Access to one-on-one trade counseling from WTCGP international trade specialists
  • Mentorship by experienced exporters and international service providers
  • Complimentary admission to the Annual Global Business Conference
