About The World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia (WTCGP)
A membership organization, the WTCGP has helped expand the global growth of companies, largely small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey through its award-winning trade services and educational programs, increasing economic growth and family-sustaining jobs for local communities and bringing life-enhancing and often life-saving technologies to people around the world.
The WTCGP is a licensed and certified member of the World Trade Centers Association, an extensive and powerful network of over 300 world trade centers in nearly 100 countries. It is considered among the leading world trade centers in the network. Since 2002, the WTCGP has served as Pennsylvania’s appointed and leading regional export representative. In this role, it has provided trade counseling and connected exporting companies in five counties of SE Pennsylvania to the Commonwealth’s international representatives. The WTCGP also provides trade assistance to companies in the eight counties of Southern New Jersey. Collectively, it has helped Pennsylvania and New Jersey companies generate in total more than $2.2B in increased export sales and supporting more than 28,000 jobs. Large medical and educational institutions look to the WTCGP to advance their international growth strategies, and the WTCGP maintains key partnerships with corporate professional service providers – banks, law and accounting firms, and logistics companies that provide important services to WTCGP client companies.
Through its annual conferences and events and valuable connections to international trade leadership in Washington, D.C., and beyond, the WTCGP has established a reputation for global thought leadership and achievement, helping to advance the global recognition and competitiveness of the City of Philadelphia and the Region.
