David DeLizza

President and Chief Executive Officer of Pennoni

David A. DeLizza, PE - serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pennoni.  Dave joined Pennoni in 1976 as a Drexel University co-op. After graduating in 1979 with a civil engineering degree from Drexel, Dave progressed from Graduate Engineer to Office Director to Regional Vice President to Senior Vice President for Strategic Growth to Chief Operating Officer and became President and CEO in July 2019.​

Dave has over 40 years of civil engineering experience and is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware. He has represented municipalities and water/wastewater authorities during his career at Pennoni and has worked on civil infrastructure projects from the initial planning phase through design, construction and operations. Dave currently serves on Pennoni’s Board of Directors and was Chairman of the firm’s Strategic Planning and Retirement Plans Committees. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The South Jersey Branch of ASCE honored Dave as the 2006 Distinguished Civil Engineer. Dave is a member of Rowan University's Civil Engineering Advisory Council and serves as a director for the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia, the Stockton College Foundation, and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. Dave has been a member of Pennoni’s Board of Directors since 2019.
