Tony Simonetta is the interim President of the WTCGP while the WTCGP selection committee completes the process to identify and appoint a new permanent President.
His previous role is the principal of AJS & Associates a consulting practice he established to assist clients in improving results of operations and financial health and managing risk. |
His other professional experiences from last to first have included the following: Senior Vice President of Operations for the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation where he oversaw all of PIDC’s support functions including finance, accounting, legal, IT, risk management, human resources, loan administration and contract administration. He has experience as special Assistant to the President – CEO of Temple University Health System where he provided leadership and oversight on a variety of complex financial, organizational and special projects.
In addition, Tony has been the Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary of a leading provider of biotechnology-based products and services for a broad range of life science, biotechnology, diagnostic and food safety applications, where he was responsible for the company's finance, accounting, contract administration, investment management, human resources, risk management, IT and investor relations; and, he spent the first 28 years of his career with KPMG LLP (18 of those years as a partner) where he provided audit, accounting and consulting services to hundreds of companies as diverse as startups and the Fortune 100.
