WTCGP Welcomes New President
The WTCGP is pleased to welcome its new president, Linda Mysliwy Conlin. With over 25 years of experience in international trade, trade finance and public policy, Ms. Conlin brings a wealth of international experience and knowledge to the WTCGP. Ms. Conlin’s career includes serving as assistant secretary for trade development with the U.S. Department of Commerce and as executive director in New Jersey’s Commerce and Economic Growth Commission from 1994 to 1999. She has held positions at the U.S. Travel and Tourism Administration, the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Information Agency. Most recently, Ms. Conlin served as vice chair and a member of the Board of Directors for the Export-Import Bank in Washington D.C. where she led efforts to expand financing to U.S. exporters, predominantly in emerging markets, through direct loans, loan guarantees, and export credit insurance programs.
Ms. Conlin received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French and Russian Studies from the University of Massachusetts. In her early career, she built her own business, Park-Main Travel Agency, into one of New England’s premier travel agencies.
As president, Ms. Conlin’s duties include overseeing the day-to-day operations and program development of the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia. In this capacity, she is responsible for establishing and executing key goals, objectives and strategies for the organization. Ms. Conlin looks forward to working with WTCGP's experienced trade professionals in introducing new and innovative programs, including export finance, aimed at providing the region's exporters with the tools they need to expand their business globally.
