The World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia is welcomes two Drexel University students, Julie Klausa and Liz Healy, as WTCGP interns for spring and summer 2009.
Julie Klausa
Julie is a sophomore at Drexel’s LeBow College of Business where she is a business administration major with concentrations in international business and marketing. She is joining the staff of the WTCGP for her first co-op and is very excited to familiarize herself with the many facets of world trade. Julie’s interest in international business and foreign cultures stems from her extensive travel experience to Europe, specifically Germany and Switzerland. In the coming years, she plans to do more traveling through Drexel’s study abroad program to gain valuable insight into other countries. Julie hopes this experience will help with her networking abilities along with being a great preview of the work she will be doing after graduation.
Liz Healy
Liz first joined the WTCGP in September 2008 as a fall/winter co-op. She returned to work with the WTCGP on a part-time basis to continue this great learning experience. Liz is a sophomore business administration major with concentrations in marketing, economics, and international business. Liz speaks Spanish, which she enhanced during her study abroad in Barcelona, Spain. She also has plans with Drexel’s study abroad program to study in Istanbul, Turkey at Koç University in the fall. Liz hopes to apply the knowledge she gains from her study abroad experiences and the WTCGP internship to build her future in international business.
