Register Now To Celebrate Greater Philadelphia's Top International Business Contributors

The WTCGP will host its World Trade Centers Day Dinner celebration on Wednesday, May 13th at the Union League.  This signature awards dinner and networking event is held annually to celebrate the work of the over 300 World Trade Centers worldwide and to recognize individuals and companies who have a continuous positive impact on the global economic development of the Greater Philadelphia region.

This year, we honor Rosemary Turner, vice president and chief operating officer, Metro Philadelphia Division of United Parcel Service (UPS) with the Global Business Leadership Award.  In her capacity at UPS, Ms. Turner is responsible for the company’s second largest air hub in the country, which serves an average of 160,000 customers daily, employs more than 9,000 employees and brings in revenues in excess of $755 million to our region.  The WTCGP will recognize Ms. Turner for her contribution to the expansion of commerce and development of global partnerships in the Greater Philadelphia region.

The WTCGP is also please to recognize our Member Companies of the Year for 2009: LCR Electronics, Inc. in Pennsylvania and Holt Logistics in New Jersey.

Based in Montgomery County, PA, LCR Electronics, Inc. has been a major player in the international electronics market for over 30 years.  The company specializes in the design, development and manufacturing of custom and standard EMI filters, motor controls and electronic controls for customers in multiple industries around the globe.  An active member in the WTCGP’s CEOs’ China Operations Club, LCR Electronics also operates a manufacturing facility in Kunshan, China.

For over 70 years, Holt Logistics has driven the region’s international trade growth by managing one of the country’s most efficient port, warehouse and logistics facilities.  With locations in Philadelphia, PA and Gloucester City, NJ, Holt Logistics is known worldwide for their multi-faceted services, including the company’s truck and rail transportation, marine terminal services, and warehousing and logistics management.

We are proud to honor the vital role these companies play in the region’s international trade growth.
