Members of the WTCGP COC discuss conducting due diligence in China

On Tuesday, March 10th, the WTCGP’s CEOs’ China Operations Club (COC) met at the law offices of White and Williams LLP for a roundtable discussion on conducting due diligence in China. The COC is open to “C” level executives of WTCGP corporate member companies that have current or planned operations in China.
Jim Curtis, executive director of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Shanghai office participated via conference call from China. Under the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) export services program, the Shanghai office can provide Pennsylvania companies with their first line of information about potential business partners in China.

Additionally, the WTCGP assisted Penguin Brands in its efforts to partner with a distributor in Israel to launch its Nathan Performance Gear brand in that market.
The WTCGP has also supported Penguin at trade shows(including the largest pan-European sports show in Germany) and has provided market research on potential partner companies in Denmark, Switzerland, Greece and Portugal. The WTCGP is also helping the company identify opportunities in Chile, Russia and India.
