Discovering Business in Greece and Cyprus

WTCGP Discovery Mission delegation visits Fage Dairy Industry SA facilities in Athens, Greece

From June 23 to July 1, under the leadership of Joanna Savvides and Jean Marie Marchetto, World Trade Center members and their spouses were on a mission to seek new markets in one of the most ancient of civilizations. As a result of the mission, two companies were able to begin negotiations with new distributors and a third company enhanced their rapport with their current customer.

ITC Releases Annual Report on the Services Sector

“The services sector is the largest component of the U.S. economy and … the United States is the world’s largest market for and exporter of services,” states the U.S. International Trade Commission in its recently released 2007 Annual Report Recent Trends in U.S. Services Trade. In 2005, U.S. exports of private services increased by 10% to $360.5 billion due mainly to increased exports of financial and transportation services.
