The CEO’s China Operations Club of the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia was awarded prestigious 2006 NASBITE Program Excellence Award during the week of April 17, 2006. The North American Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE) presented this award which “recognizes outstanding and innovative developments in the area of international trade education, counseling, training, and research” to Joanna Savvides of the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia during the national NASBITE conference in Orlando, FL.

On April 12, 2006, the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis announced that total February exports of $112,985 million and imports of $178,727 million resulted in a goods and services deficit of $65,742 million, which is $2,846 million less than in January 2006.
