Traveling abroad can certainly be an unforgettable experience. For some, it brings an exciting discovery of a foreign culture, new language, new customs, new business prospects. For other travelers, however, “unforgettable” stands on the other end of the spectrum: “It was the worst trip ever… If I had only known…” Oftentimes, the latter admit that a little more preparation could have saved the a lot of time, money and nerves.
So what can you do to take the worry out of your international business trip?

As the 52nd Summer Fancy Food Show closes its doors in New York this week, the WTCGP is proud to announce that we are starting a new program for Southeastern Pennsylvania food companies this month. The program, supported by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, is aimed at increasing Pennsylvania presence at international & domestic food shows.

In the first quarter of 2006 “merchandise trade volume growth in the Group of Seven countries slowed to a seasonally-adjusted 2.9% for exports and 1.3% for imports … [from] the fourth quarter of 2005,” reported the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development in its news release on July 10, 2006. “On a year-to-year basis, G7 trade volumes continued to grow, with exports up by 11.2% and imports up by 6.9%.”
