Catherine Criqui, Research Intern

Catherine completed her first internship at the WTCGP as part of Drexel Co-op program in September of 2006 and returned to classes at Drexel University where she studies International Area Studies, Human Rights and Justice. After completing her Junior year, she spent the summer interning in the IT Department for Randstad USA @ Mercedes-Benz USA. This past fall Catherine spent four months studying abroad in Brussels, Belgium at Vesalius College. During this time she had the opportunity to work as an intern at the European Parliament for Maltese member, Louis Grech. After returning to Philadelphia, Catherine came back to intern at the WTCGP after having had a great first experience here. She is looking forward to working in the office again and gaining more experience in international business.

Lashanda Morris, Research Intern

Lashanda Morris, who started her internship at the WTCGP in March, is a sophomore at Drexel University. Prior to moving to Philadelphia, she took several courses in Broward County Community College while attending Hallandale High School in South Florida. “Coming from Jamaica, one of the most diverse islands of the Caribbean, I have a sincere appreciation for people of various cultural and linguistic backgrounds,” says Lashanda.
“This has inspired me to become better associated with other nations of the world.” Currently, Lashanda pursues a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a concentration in International Business and a minor in International Area Studies. In addition, she would like to complete course requirements for a minor in French. Lashanda hopes to work for the United Nations or a company that deals largely with the international market.
