WTCA Reciprocity at Work: WTCGP and WTC Poznan Trade Mission Cooperation
The visit to Poznan, while brief, was extremely productive in developing new ties between U.S. and Polish companies. The Pennsylvania delegation was welcomed by Pawel Burczyk, president of WTC Poznan. After a round of introductions, Mr. Burczyk provided an overview of the business environment in Poznan, focusing on furniture manufacturing and agriculture as the strongest industry sectors of the region. He also explained the relationship between the World Trade Center Poznan and Poznan International Fair, the largest trade fair complex in Poland. WTC Poznan is located on the grounds of the Poznan International Fair, so the two organizations work very closely together.
After the overview seminar, Pennsylvania delegates met one-on-one with potential Polish partners. Meetings with pre-qualified companies were set-up by the experienced staff of the WTC Poznan. The WTCGP international trade specialists will assist participating companies with post-mission follow up to ensure building of fruitful and long-lasting business relationship.
The WTCGP would like to thank our colleagues in Poznan for the wonderful business hospitality they offered us along the goal of “Reciprocity” of the World Trade Centers Association.
