Held within the framework of the WTCGP International Engineering and Design Consortium program, funded in part by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), the next WTCGP breakfast briefing "Business Opportunities in the Booming Gulf States" will be hosted on April 30, 2008 by the law offices of Dilworth Paxson in Philadelphia.

As a general manager of Amman WTC (1990-1997) and one of the founders of the WTC in Abu-Dhabi, Ousama Ghannoum will share his insights on the potential for U.S. companies to participate in the explosive growth of the Gulf States economies. Mr. Ghannoum, as a manager of ALDAR (the leading UAE real estate development, management and investment group) will outline current demands and trends in the real estate sector in the region.

Anton Germishuizen, AIA, principal, Burt, Hill, will share his company's experience of doing business in the Middle East. With offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Burt, Hill successfully competes in the regional market. Among its completed projects is a master plan for Canal Point, a 26-acre site at the gateway to New Dubai.
