WTCGP Welcomes 2 New Interns!
Evangela Keares has just entered her final year of studies at Temple University. She is double majoring in International Business and Legal Studies with a minor in Spanish. Throughout her studies at Temple University, Evangela has been exceptionally active in campus activities, such as Residential Life, the International Business Organization and Phi Alpha Delta International (where she currently holds the vice president position of this legal fraternity). She is also extremely interested in international trade and has a strong passion for culture. After graduation, Evangela plans to work for a year and then attend law school. Although she has not decided what particular law field she will pursue, Evangela has an immense interest in international law. When asked why she decided to apply for an internship with the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia, Evangela replied: "I hope that this internship will allow me to get a better understanding of the export business, increase my network, and gain knowledge in the process of turning a company international so that I may apply these skills in my future career."
Lindsey Murray is currently a full-time student at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business. Lindsey grew up in a very small town in South Jersey, known as Laurel Springs. Growing up, her first true love was and still is gymnastics. "I have been in the gym since I was two, trained for sixteen years and presently I am a coach with hopes of returning to the competitive gymnastics community," says Lindsey. In high school, she took a slight hiatus from her training and joined the diving team. Though her career as a diver only lasted four years, nevertheless, she managed to hold the title of conference champion four times, and was known as one of New Jersey's top 10 divers for three years consecutive. After high school, Lindsey entered Drew University, a small liberal arts college in Madison, New Jersey, where she intended to pursue a degree in abnormal psychology. However, she had a change of heart and decided to transfer to Drexel to pursue a degree in international business and marketing. As part of Drexel's Co-op program, Lindsey decided to work as an intern at the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia. After graduating from Drexel University, Lindsey plans to become a corporate event planner. She will work closely with WTCGP Events Coordinator, Victoria Delvizis, on the organization's numerous conferences and events.
