Our vice president for business and trade development, Jean Marie Marchetto, has left the WTCGP in pursuit of new international business opportunities. While at the WTCGP, Jean Marie was involved in all operations of the organization. She was originally the international trade specialist in Chester County where she received recognition from clients for her excellent work. She then became instrumental in the development of the WTCGP when it received its license from the World Trade Centers Association in 2002, including preparation of business, strategic, marketing and human resources plans. Jean Marie organized and managed membership, sponsorship, event programs, website development, and instituted an Advisory Council. In addition, she was the Regional Export Network coordinator, acting as program manager and liaison with the Office of International Business Development of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. She managed the WTCGP international trade specialists in their client service activities and introduced new client programs. Having been appointed the vice president for business and trade development, Jean Marie was responsible for the overall marketing communications, business and trade program development, as well as major grant initiatives from inception to conclusion.
