Opening the Russian Market for Local Companies The Russian economy is in a period of rapid expansion. This market of 143 million consumers presents tremendous opportunities for US exporters; however Pennsylvania and New Jersey companies accounted for just 4.4% of $5.2 billion U.S. exports to this country from January through September 2007.
