Program Status: Ongoing About the program The World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia is the official representative of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Center for Trade Development in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties. We fully support CTD's mission and objectives, and promote all of its programs. Who can participate? Overseas representatives As part of its assistance, the WTCGP contracts with Pennsylvania's Center for Trade Development and provides access to the PA Authorized Trade Representatives who are local professionals, knowledgeable about the business, social and political environments of their country. Their primary job is to assist Pennsylvania companies with penetrating new markets and growing their business in existing markets. PA Authorized Trade Representatives help companies find overseas trading partners, assist with in-country visits, provide market intelligence and offer other support. Currently, the state has 24 overseas representatives, covering approximately 65 countries. Pennsylvania authorized representatives are located in: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Germany, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. Program Events Pennsyvlvania International Week and Philadelphia International Showcase - September 2011 In an effort to increase exports of products and services from Pennsylvania, the state participates in numerous trade shows and missions.
