International Trade Executive Hired for New Jersey and Townrow Promoted to Executive Vice President
PHILADELPHIA – The World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia (WTCGP) has hired Michael Manning as Manager of International Trade Services for New Jersey.
Manning was formerly the Director of the Trenton office for the U.S. Commercial Service.
In his role as Manager of International Trade Services for New Jersey he is responsible for providing trade counseling to companies in Southern New Jersey and recruiting new companies for participation in the “Job Creation through Export Development: Innovative Manufacturing and Services” Program. This EDA grant-funded program was designed to focus on innovative manufacturing and services sectors, such as energy and environment, high tech and nanotechnology, biotech and life science, and education and knowledge.
Manning has 15 years of international sales experience with major U.S. corporations, including FMC Corporation, The Budd Company and Luria Brothers, a Division of Ogden Corporation.

Manning is a graduate of LaSalle University with a B.A. in Economics and has additional training in international programs and procedures. He is a co-founder of both The South Jersey Exporters Trade Association and The Cumberland County International Trade Association.
Andrea Townrow has been promoted to Executive Vice President from her former position as Manager of Business Development.
In her new role she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the WTCGP, in addition to overseeing the corporate development program at the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia. Ms. Townrow joined the WTCGP in 2008 as an international trade specialist. Ms. Townrow has an extensive private sector background in international sales, having served in this capacity at both the National Seal Company and Fendall Company.
According to Ms. Conlin, “Andrea is an experienced trade professional whose energy and strong management and organizational skills will enable her, in her new role, to make an important contribution to the success of our organization.”
