World Trade Center for Greater Philadelphia event to take place
on
February 5 at the Academy of Natural Sciences
PHILADELPHIA, PA -- The World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia
(WTCGP) announces the launch of Making Connections, a networking
event for college students and business leaders interested in
global business. The event gives students an opportunity to network
with international business leaders, explore internship opportunities,
and discover all of the international aspects that make Greater
Philadelphia competitive globally. The reception, sponsored by
Pennsylvania: Stay, Invent the Future, will be held at the Academy
of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia from 6 to 8 p.m. on February
5, 2003.
Keynote speaker George Millili, Ph.D., Director of International
Technical Operations at Merck & Company, will discuss why
international firms choose to establish offices in the region
and offer useful tips for students seeking international job opportunities
in the Philadelphia region.

WTCGP is a licensed member of the World Trade Centers Association
and evolved from the Export Development Unit of the Delaware River
Port Authority. It offers a number of programs such as one-on-one

through seminars, international trade missions and networking
events.
