The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is set to receive a portion of $17.4 million in federal funding aimed at increasing exports of the state's small businesses.
"Unlocking trade opportunities for small businesses is key to continued growth and expansion," said Maria Contreras-Sweet of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Pennsylvania will receive $698,613 through the agency's State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) program.
The money will help facilitate foreign trade missions and sales trips, and aid in the design of export trade show exhibits, international marketing campaigns and training workshops, among other initiatives. Full article at Philadelphia Business Journal
