November 18, 2016. Global Entrepreneurship Week Philadelphia: Import/Export - Introduction to International Trade at the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce
Offered in support of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the November 18 networking and workshop event hosted by the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians introduced small and medium enterprises to the export-import ecosystem and the basics of starting or expanding an export-import business. Among the key trade representatives and presenters from the region was Dale Foote, international trade specialist for World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia.
More than 30 attendees were presented with applicable considerations for market expansion and many available trade resources from different organizations to support export-import ventures including U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S Commercial Service, and the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia among others.
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is the world’s largest celebration of innovators and job-creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.
