Luncheon Keynote Address
U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce Dennis F. Hightower was appointed by President Obama after having a 30 year career in global marketing, business strategy, and management. Mr. Hightower’s experience includes leading a mutli-billion dollar enterprise as president of Walt Disney Television & Telecommunications, serving on the Board of Directors for high-profile companies such as Accenture and Domino’s Pizza, as well as decorated service in the U.S. Army as a Vietnam veteran. Mr. Hightower holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, as well as, a B.S. and honorary doctorate from Howard University.
