Offering their advice and leading the discussion were Carolyn Chou, Professor at Saint Joseph’s University; Steven Zou, PA overseas representative stationed in Beijing; and Julie Wong, a Chinese banking and real estate entrepreneur.

Also discussed at the meeting was the need to make personal relationships to overcome regional differences and biases in business deals. Similarly, Ms. Wong described how she became the first Asian woman to open a bank in the U.S. to fill the needs of Chinese real estate buyers in Philadelphia.
