WTCGP Member Companies Participate in Successful Trade Mission to Mumbai, India

Bubhakar Sanzgiri of Asha Scientific Company with Ron Drozd of WTCGP and Ivan Aranha of WTC-Mumbai

The companies participating in the mission included: Chemtech International Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of material handling, safety and pharmaceutical products; Iridian Technologies, leading provider of iris authentication technology; AgraCo Technologies International LLC, an agricultural technology company; Global Equipment & Machine Sales Inc., a paper and pulp machinery company; Precision Electronics Glass, a manufacturer of precision glass and quartz components and assemblies; and Rockland Immunochemicals, Inc., a global biotechnology company.

More than forty face-to-face meetings were held in Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi. India’s fast growing market of 1.2 billion people has an appetite for goods and services in many industries, from agriculture to technology – and these business match-making opportunities presented by the World Trade Center allowed the direct contact needed to initiate the relationships. A follow-up trade mission to India in the fall will allow these and more companies to complete additional business deals and further investigate the market.
