Your potential customers are waiting to get into your website but you refuse to let them in! Here’s why: they don’t speak your language, they don’t relate to your content, and they can’t find you with their search engines. About forty attendees at the recent “Globalizing Your Website” seminar learned how to address these and other roadblocks. WTCGP Supports Philadelphia University’s NASBITE Credential Program In today’s world, global business is no longer reserved exclusively for large corporations. Indeed, global business has also become a very real and necessary component to the activities of small and midsize companies as well. Therefore, key employees at the forefront of their company’s international team must remain informed and knowledgeable regarding international business practices and how to navigate the global marketplace. The NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional™ Credential is attained by taking a qualifying examination. Philadelphia University offers a prepatory online course for the Qualifying Examination. The brochures heralded an impressive, recently-privatized manufacturing facility. The reality was a few workers assembling earphones around a small table in a nondescript room. This was just one example of the need for in-country, due diligence shared by experts on China at the most recent CEO China Operations Club meeting held on April 6, 2005. More good news for WTCGP members! We are wrapping up the Member Benefits program for spring 2005 and will be sending you your Directory of Benefits in the coming weeks. Upcoming Meetings and Trade Missions Meetings and trade missions are planned through September 2005. Locations include: the United Kingdom and Ireland, Mexico, Australia and China. |
