3d Annual World Trade Centers Day Dinner - June 8, 2005

   The World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia (WTCGP) hosted its third annual dinner program celebrating

   World Trade Centers Day on June 8th at the Wyndham Philadelphia at Franklin Plaza. This annual WTCGP event

   celebrates World Trade Centers Day, a day designated by the United Nations each year to recognize the

   significant contributions achieved by World Trade Centers around the globe as they honor peace, stability and

   economic development through trade. This year, the World Trade Centers Day Award was presented to Hugh

   C. Long II, Wachovia Bank’s CEO for Pennsylvania and Delaware. Four high school seniors (2 from Philadelphia

   and 2 from Camden) were awarded a $1000 scholarship each for their essay responses to the topic, “How Can

  Careers in International Trade Promote World peace and Stability?”
