Founded in 1995, the International Student Network (ISN) helps universities from across the United States recruit overseas high school seniors by holding “American Education Expos” in countries around the world. They have helped thousands of students apply to and enroll in hundreds of American universities. In 2002, ISN became the first education company to receive the Pennsylvania Governor's Export Achievement Award, for implementing a unique approach to international student recruitment. The company also earned the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Achievement in 2004 for its contributions of $10 million to the education export sector.
In April 2009, International Student Network (ISN) traveled to Santiago, Chile and successfully conducted one of their “American Education Expos” with the assistance of the WTCGP and the PA Chile ATR office. The PA Chile ATR greatly assisted ISN by helping coordinate and arrange the “in-country” marketing efforts, logistics, and appointments, including a visit for ISN’s university exhibitors to the Nido de Aguilas high school.
Mr. Babish Soni, the president of ISN, was extremely pleased with the assistance ISN received from the PA Chile ATR office. “I am extremely grateful for all of the help and support given by the PA Chile ATR. This ISN American Education Expo event would not have been possible to organize without the help of the WTCGP and the PA Chile ATR office. The event was very successful and everyone was extremely pleased with the outcome and the success from this event.”
ISN is already making plans for another similar expo in Santiago for next year.
