WTCGP Contributes to Global Growth and Expansion of Ottens Flavors

Ottens Flavors is an industry leader in the development and production of flavors and food additives used by leading manufacturers worldwide. Its new state-of-the-art research and testing facility, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is designed to allow total focus on the creation of technically superior, as well as highly marketable, flavors suitable for a variety of applications including: dairy products, baked goods, popcorn, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cereal, entrees, glazes, and marinadesy.

The Experience

The WTCGP has provided comprehensive market research reports for the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand. Also, in 2003 Ottens established a sales and marketing office in Singapore to promote sales throughout Asia with the assistance of the WTCGP’s legal and accounting referral network and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s ASEAN office based in Singapore.

The WTCGP also provided advice and counseling so that Ottens could participate in the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Market Access Program (MAP). As a result, Ottens received federal funding under this program so they could promote their export sales.
