State of the Port Address and Luncheon - October 12, 2007
Nearly 180 people attended the 6th Annual State of the Port Address and Luncheon held at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing
on October 12, 2007. With all that has happened this last year with the resolution of the dredging issue and its implications for regional economic growth, the guests were excited to hear presentations by the leading specialists of Philadelphia International Airport, Delaware River Port Authority, Philadelphia Regional Port Authority and South Jersey Port Corporation. Among the issues discussed were: a new direct flight Philadelphia - Beijing by US Airways; expansion of the airport's terminals to accomodate more flights and passengers; the Delaware River dredging project; and others.
We would like to thank this event's Silver Sponsors: LeBow College of Business, Drexel University,
New Liberty Administrators,
Saul Ewing LLP, and U.S. Airway; and recognize Delaware River
Port Authority,
Holt Logistics, Philadelphia International Airport, Philadelphia Marine Trade Association, Philadelphia Regional Port Authority, South Jersey
Port Corporation, and Sunoco Inc. for their continued support.
