WTCGP Discovery Mission to Greece and Cyprus - June 23 - July 1, 2007

From June 23 to July 1, 2007, under the leadership of Joanna Savvides and Jean Marie Marchetto, World Trade Center members and their spouses were on a mission to seek new markets in the most ancient of civilizations. Participants took part in 35 meetings with potential trading partners. In addition, several market insight briefings were conducted by the US Embassy officials in Athens and Nicosia and the local Chambers of Commerce. A special tour of Greece’s largest dairy producer was conducted at Fage Dairy Industry SA. Finally, the mission members had the pleasure of touring historic archeological sites such as the Acropolis, “Choirokitia” one of the oldest villages in the world, and Kourion with its ancient amphitheater and beautiful mosaic floors.
