Inbound Buyers’ Trade Delegation from the Korean Importers Association in South Korea - April 14, 2008

The World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia (WTCGP) and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Center for Trade Development (CTD) and Office of International Business Development (OIBD) hosted an inbound Buyers’ Trade Delegation from the Korean Importers Association in South Korea on Monday, April 14, 2008. Mr. Ken Yang, the PA Authorized Trade Representative (ATR) based in Seoul, Korea, worked in close conjunction with Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) for almost 3 years to bring this buyers’ delegation to Pennsylvania for the very first time. The WTCGP scheduled and coordinated almost 75 one-on-one “match-making” meetings between over 40 Pennsylvania companies and 15 companies of the KOIMA delegation over the course of the day.
