WTCGP Breakfast Briefing “Doing Business in Poland and the Czech Republic”- December 6, 2007
On Thursday, December 6, the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia hosted a breakfast briefing "Doing Business in Poland and the Czech Republic" aimed at increasing local companies’ awareness of business opportunities in these two European Union countries. Although both Poland and the Czech Republic are currently undergoing great growth in the global market, these countries are not yet on the business radar of many American companies. Sponsored by Pennoni Associates, Inc., the briefing gave more than 30 listeners an inside look at the political and economic characteristics of these two nations.
David Delizza, the senior vice president of Pennoni Associates, Inc., a WTCGP Ambassador member, welcomes the attendees and gives a hospitable introduction to the morning’s speakers.
Silvia Savich, a senior international trade specialist at the U.S. Department of Commerce, provides an overview of the political, economic and social environment in Poland and the Cezch Republic through a historic perspective.
